School health care

School nurse:

* takes care of personal health inspections in comprehensive school (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 7th and 9th grade) as well as in high school (1st grade)

* gives the pupils the general vaccinations

* gives first-aid help in case of need

School nurse backs up the students and parents in the student’s normal growth issues and development. School nurse is also students help in case of problems and guides them to follow-up treatments if necessary.

Every pupil also has a school doctor. School doctor’s inspection is made for 5 grade students and to others in the lower state of comprehensive school if so needed.
