Main focus

We work as specialists in enhancing people´s health and rehabilitation.

We treat the acute patients from special health care and participate in the pre- and post operative control and rehabilitation in order to improve customer’s physical work and ability to move.

We support the long hospitalized patients and work to maintain or enhance their physical functions in order to manage well when back at home. We work as experts in cooperation with the departments personnel when creating the rehabilitation program.

Customers

For the treatments one needs the referral of a health care centre doctor or nurse. The patients from follow-up treatments come by the hospital doctor’s referral.

The patients always make their own appointment.

Private medical clinics can not send patients. You don’t need a referral for self care guidance. One can gravitate to groups without a referral. The groups are diagnose-based and free of charge.

The guidance and consultations include self care instructions, assistive device assessments as well as testings, which all are free of charge.

Treatments for health care centre´s hospital patients for doctor´s request

The aim of our work is to get the patients well as soon as possible. For them to get back home well we arrange all the needed aid services to guarantee their physical ability to take care of themselves. Older people´s rehabilitation requires patience and multiprofessionality. All the patients receive their rehabilitation plan before leaving hospital and its fulfilment is in charge of the nurses and the personnel of physiotherapy team. The patient is encouraged actively to take part in their own treatment as much as possible. The aim is to maintain the independence and wellbeing of the patient.
