Home nursing is chargeable nursing which take place in patients home. It is based on patient’s disability to reach the normal health services.

The home nursing’s basic mission is to be in charge of individual, planned nursing of the patient. Temporal health care is offered by suggestion of special health care, emergency duty, or the patients themselves.

Home nursing cooperates with family members and home care. In all functions the prevention, coping at home and rehabilitation are being well considered.

Home nursing reception

Help device counselling is offered in Lempäälä health care centre Tuesdays 9.00-13.00 and Fridays 8.00-9.00. Devices are permitted by the certificate of the GP, always 3 months at a time.

Older people´s counselling reception is available by appointment and is situated in the same facilities with home nursing. Guidance and counselling is provided in the nurse’s office for people over 65 years and health inspections are made for people over 75 years.

Memory polyclinic functions in the same facilities with home nursing in the Lempäälä health care centre. The idea of the function is to clarify the reason for patient’s memory problems and make the diagnosis in an early stage. The memory polyclinic has doctor and nurse’s receptions by appointment.
