In the municipality every habitant has the rights to his own doctor, nurse, school nurse and home nurse. The nurses and doctors are determined by the postal address of the client. Lempäälä health care centre serves the habitants that live in the southern part of the municipality and Kulju health care centre serves the habitants of Kulju and Sääksjärvi areas.

Specialist medical care

Lempäälä is part of the Pirkanmaa hospital district’s southern area. The nearest hospitals are Valkeakoski and Kaivanto hospitals. Special level and central hospital services are available in Tampere university hospital, which produces the biggest part of specialist medical care services to people in Lempäälä.

In addition the municipality of Lempäälä gets outsourced services from different service providers in the branch, such as Pirkanmaan Hoitokoti and Raumasäätiö´s hospital.

• advices how the patient should, if needed, act in a case of dissatisfaction or when being mistreated
